We will consider the treatment of the existing building substance and adhere to the planning regulations regarding the setbacks. The goal is to preserve the architectural qualities of the existing building and to create a spatial and creative overall composition. The swimming pool extension occurs by extending the existing swimming hall to the west, integrating the sauna as a roof volume. We will optimize the functional processes through precise interventions in the existing structure and adapt the spatial program to new needs.
The project aims to seamlessly integrate the extension into the existing building, both in architectural and conceptual terms. The aim is to create a coherent bathing landscape with a high quality of stay. The landscape design of the indoor swimming pool and its surroundings aims to emphasize the rural character of the location and create a pleasant atmosphere. Existing tree structures will be integrated, and the outdoor area will be attractive for bathers.

The construction and materialization of the extension are mainly done in timber construction, which allows for a resource-saving realization. The existing building's structural alterations and rehabilitation measures serve to preserve and improve the building's substance.
The project places great emphasis on sustainability in terms of the choice of building materials and the efficiency of the building services. Extensive measures for CO2 reduction and energy saving will be implemented.
